Architecture

Native Chromium architecture—not a wrapper.

The legacy Electron application preserves approved product ideas, but it is no longer the architectural foundation of the next-generation browser.

Native foundation

The new browser is built from Chromium’s desktop architecture.

Native browser windows, profiles, tabs, WebContents, storage, permissions, downloads, DevTools, session restore, and physical input handling are part of the foundation—not simulated surfaces above a wrapper.

Browser process

Native lifecycle and policy.

Window creation, profile services, policy, downloads, permissions, session state, and privileged WebUI boundaries are designed within Chromium’s process model.

Renderer isolation

Remote sites remain remote sites.

Ordinary web content must not gain TAHAI privileged services, generic command execution, secret retrieval, or browser-storage export capabilities.

Profile scope

Features follow the correct profile.

Mission, policy, diagnostics, storage, and support behavior must respect profile separation and enterprise governance.

Mission Control

Operational features are native browser capabilities.

Mission Tabs, multi-pane layouts, active-pane navigation, Runbook Rail, Mission Timeline, evidence and redaction, Native OpsTools, Admin Console Profiles, and Mission Recipes are being carried forward as approved product concepts—not as Electron architecture.

Long-term direction

Adaptation comes after release-grade browser foundations.

A future Daily Driver direction may adapt workspace modes, context, and tool presentation to how the user works. That is a long-term goal for a free application with other active TAHAI projects—not a NATIVE044 release promise.
