TAHAI Browser is being rebuilt from the Chromium source tree as a fully native desktop browser for IT, DevOps, cloud, support, and technical-operations work. It is not an Electron wrapper, WebView2 shell, CEF application, or simulated browser interface.

The next generation uses Chromium’s native desktop architecture: browser windows, profiles, tabs, WebContents, storage, permissions, downloads, DevTools, session restore, and physical input handling.

The full pinned Chromium checkout is not currently available at D:\dev\TAHAI-Chromium. Final headed Windows runtime proof, earlier-pass runtime receipts, Enterprise Gates G3–G5, installer, MSIX, signing, Store submission, release candidate, and GA remain open.

Long-term vision

A browser that can adapt to how the user works.

Adaptive Daily Driver behavior remains a long-term direction, not a near-term release promise. TAHAI Web Services has other active projects, and the browser is a free application, so this capability will advance only when the native foundation and release evidence justify the work.

Near-term priority: finish protocol governance, diagnostics, provenance, Windows packaging, Store preparation, migration boundaries, and final release verification.

Development status

Follow the native rebuild without inflated release claims.

The next milestone is NATIVE039. Native downloads will appear only after the required runtime, packaging, signing, Store, and release gates close.
